Our intention is to provide a valid tool for teachers to support them during the school year through special experiences that put children in direct contact with art and history.
A classroom workshop or a guided tour become a necessary compendium to fix what is studied in the books in their training path. In particular, dexterity and creativity are skills that are lost in a technological and computerized society, while the experience of trying to paint or compose a mosaic as in the time of the ancients allows students to be projected into a time when everything had to be done by hand , with dedication and patience.
On guided tours, we help you choose routes and itineraries suited to the themes of the educational programmes, suggesting the best times for outings and resolving any booking procedures. During the same day we can combine a practical workshop in the magnificent location of the Stadio di Domiziano (Piazza Navona), or organize the activity directly in the classroom.

Have you ever wondered, while visiting a church or a museum, how the painters of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance managed to paint on wooden tables with such bright and lively colors as enamels? Some of those pigments were actually those used for the frescoes only that, thanks to their mixture with natural substances such as egg, they remained fixed on the supports for centuries, keeping their chromatic characteristics unaltered.
During the course, lasting a weekend, we will learn how to make a painting on wood through the main phases: the preparation of the wood with the various layers of plaster and glue, the choice of the subject to be reproduced, its transfer onto the surface to be painted , the application of the Armenian bole on the background, the gilding with gold leaf and the application of pigments mixed with egg red.
Each substance and each shade of color will be carefully prepared during the lesson by the students who, at the end of the course, will be able to take home a small treasure of ancient painting.

How It Works
Marbling paper involves floating inks or colors on an aqueous solution and transferring them onto paper. Here's how it works in brief:
1) Preparation of the Bath: An aqueous solution (usually a mixture of water and gum arabic) is prepared in a flat, wide container.
2) Coloring: Inks or colors are dripped onto the surface of the bath. You can use a wide range of colors and designs to create the desired effect.
3) Marbling: Using combs or special tools, colors floating on the surface of the water are manipulated to create unique and complex designs.
4) Transfer to Paper: The paper is delicately placed on the surface of the bathroom, capturing the marbled design.
5) Drying and Finishing: The marbled paper is left to dry and can then be used for various artistic or decorative projects.
